Hello there, and welcome to our first weekly digest! As the name implies, each week we'll share what we've been up to, what's coming up next, and some of our at-the-moment obsessions we just want to tell you all about.
Last week, we popped up at one of our favorite local clothing stores, Ad Hoc. The West Town boutique carries independent and local designers, and has an array of clothing, jewelry and home decor items. It's the perfect little place to splurge on your spring wardrobe, pick up a badass pin to let the world know you're a boss bitch, and if you're me, inspire you to create a zen sanctuary complete with some colorful sage.
Birthday Sex was our featured cocktail for this event. Yup, it's named after that Jeremih song you can't help but bump along to every time it finds you. It's a champagne-based cocktail with apricot, elderflower and a hint of sage, because who says Birthday Sex isn't classy?
While people came in and out to shop and sip on post-brunch cocktails, we had our "Run The World" playlist on in the background. We created an array of lady-led hip-hop and RnB songs for International Women's Day, with some Beyoncé, Kali Uchis, SZA and more. Check it out below! We tested it to make sure it's fitting for both a night out and night in that ultimately ends in an amazing dance party for one (we may or may not know from experience 💁🏻♀️).

Favorite place to get tipsy: The Franklin Room. Go during happy hour Tuesday-Friday for their $5 whiskey boys.
Favorite place to empty our wallet: Martha Mae. Go buy beautiful things you don't need for your home and pet a freaking adorable King Charles Cavalier pup who sits calmly on the counter in a basket.
Favorite place to eat our weight: West Town Bakery. You haven't lived unless you've tried their chocolate milkshakes.
